Studying the map

on the Davis Peak trail. The conversation went something like this: Eric "Bob, I'm telling you that this is switchback number eight hundred and thirty two" Bob "No Eric, I've been counting carefully, we have only done seven hundred and twenty four, see here on this map!" Actually someone else counted the switchbacks and counted 88 of them but it feels like a lot more than that. Enjoy this trail but count the switchbacks and report back. 7-21-07
