A view of the chain of hills bordering the northern fringe of the Saguenay fjord from roadside in relative vicinity to the town of "St Rose du Nord" and the Lac St Jean region...While such hills aren't at a particularly high elevation they do stand out rising from what is near sea level to a little over 1000 feet. The Valin hills for their part (which are west north west of these hills ) rise more dramatically from near sea level to close to 3500 feet. Pleasent scenery to discover for those with a eye for delightful moments . I guess that it's a question of attitude even of roundish hills aren't on the menu for those in their quest for stark rocky faces ... Click on the image to expand it... Need I remind you that this image is of a humble valley out of many to discover in the province, some of which appear to have starker topography.
