A perfect hike before the Boulder 70.3 2019
Drove up from Boulder with my wife for an evening stroll. A low effort high reward hike as the views in all directions are amazing. We have been having some unseasonably cool weather recently and it felt like fall up in the foothills.
Summited a couple of times with family in 2014 and 2015.
I saw it on a map and couldn't resist another Sugarloaf ascent. Now I've climbed three different peaks called Sugarloaf.
Did this one in combination with Bald Mountain via the Switzerland Trail.
Nice views of Indian Peaks.
With Bummers Rock.
Easy and quick hike saturday afternoon after work, nice views of Indian Peaks.
Been up a couple times after work in the early morning. Great views of the Front Range and IPW.
I guess all the good people of Boulder were still sleeping off the New Years festivities, because Logan and I had this nice little summit all to ourselves!
Ran up Sugarloaf after not getting to Jasper Peak in the Indian Peaks (really snowy still).
My wife and I climbed this as a consolation prize after running into poor snow conditions on an attempt in the IPW. The views were great from the top - snow covered peaks to the west and green landscape to the east.
After driving over from Twin Sisters, hiked up this and then hiked down the road to Bald Mountain.
Wish there was more open space around.
Did this one with my 7 year old son
With the mom and sis.

Nothing better to do the day after Christmas, so I grabbed Jack and headed up to do this short hike to burn off some of yesterdays dinner. Nice views except to the west due to the Indian Peaks being shrouded in clouds.
steve and i braced the horrible rain and wind storm for ~30 minutes to hike sugarloaf from the high parking lot. a great lookout tower from what we could see(barely). drenched upon returning to the car, we passed on the 9er bald until another time.
