loop hike  Sucess!

Bushwhack to the top from the col between it and Breakneck Ridge. There appeared to be a very old dam that formed the start of the stream that ran down the ravine to the west. The summit of Sugarloaf has been closed by the signs I saw on the trail on the way back.

Coming back down from fire lookout  Sucess!

Took the Wilkinson trail back down from the fire lookout. Lots of going through the woods, but eventually some nice views from near the top of SUgarloaf. Was definitely better coming down from Sugarloaf than downhiking Breakneck ridge.

First Time  Sucess!

Had a day off and decided to try this hike. I planned on doing it with my kids but they were in school and I was bored. It was a great little hike just under an hour one way. Excellent views.
