loop hike
Bushwhack to the top from the col between it and Breakneck Ridge. There appeared to be a very old dam that formed the start of the stream that ran down the ravine to the west. The summit of Sugarloaf has been closed by the signs I saw on the trail on the way back.
Took the Wilkinson trail back down from the fire lookout. Lots of going through the woods, but eventually some nice views from near the top of SUgarloaf. Was definitely better coming down from Sugarloaf than downhiking Breakneck ridge.

4th time
Did the little peak again, this time after climbing Breakneck and Sunset Point. See my post under Breaneck Ridge for pics etc of that part of the hike and our encounter with a Timber Rattlesnake!!!!

First Time
Had a day off and decided to try this hike. I planned on doing it with my kids but they were in school and I was bored. It was a great little hike just under an hour one way. Excellent views.
