Or you can drive to the top (if the yellow gate on the south side is open). We did so after sunset and the lights in the valley to the west were cool to see.



This is also a 2,000 prominence peak, ranking 57th in WA at 2870 ft. Sumas is some summit. An interesting addition to summitpost.
