Summit from South Zapata Lake
Taken December 28, 2017. With all the snow storms more north in the state, the Sangres provided an ideal outing for mixed conditions. Summit can be seen from here, but it is still a LONG way to go. The couloir I used is centered in the picture. Couloir had mixed loose snow and solid ice.
