Rattlesnake

This peak has to present an awesome view on a clear day. I wish I had climbed this peak when I was younger. The views of Baden-Powell, Iron and Baldy, must be incredible.I take it the route from the west is even more difficult... is that correct?

Re: Rattlesnake

I'm not aware of any route from the west? Have you seen it described somewhere?

RE: West Rt.

I've been told there is a route via Bichota Canyon. After the recent years of fires, the route might be doable. The trouble is that Hwy 39 is still closed to the best of my knowledge, so the approach to Bichota is difficult at best.

Re: RE: West Rt.

Interesting. The type of adventure I might be interested in.

Highway 39 is open again... you might like to try the west route now... let me know how it goes if, you do.
