Looks cold!

Beautiful shot - taken about a third of the way to the summit above the Hillary step, I believe. This set ranks among the best sets of Everest pics I've ever seen.

Wow - you learn something every day! From the pictures I've seen of the Hillary Step, I can't picture it in this shot... does the largest cornice over the climber's head conceal most of the step, and we can only see the top of it?

I will check out your site, your photos here are exemplary.

The step is down left from the highest appearing cornice. I have another photo posted that shows it more clearly.
