Gaining Ken Point's summit from the southern face gives you some opportunities to actually scramble up to Class 4 on stable stone. Have no idea what that yellow sign is for, there were more of them on the trail below...I didn't bring it up there. 04 Dec 07

Awesome!

That is some very beautiful rock! In the San Bernardinos I always come across those signs. I believe they are used for visual survey points from a distance. Didn't realize Ken Point was so scenic , thanks for the page.

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised that I could spend time crawling around on the rock instead of just through manzanita. ARG! The bushwacking off Butterfly killed my sense of humor for a few minutes. :)
