Hero shot

I am not big on hero shots, but I have to say that this one is pretty cool. GJ

Haha. Yes, some people perceive it as a hero shot, some even say "too narcistic". When I see this picture, I have to think of that morning on the summit. Standing in an orange glow; getting warmed up from the sun overlooking sun rayed valleys, Tajumulco's shadow and staring at all Guatemalan volcanoes of which Fuego and Santiaguito were smoking. Within 2 weeks both of them erupted causing mudslides down Santiaguito and spectacular views from Antigua on Fuego.

And I think of the girl who took my camera because she just had to take a picture of me in that orange glow.
