Nice photo. I love these little "dinos" ;) I think this might be a Side-blotched Lizard though. Side-blotched Lizards have a black spot on the side of the body just behind the front legs.
How big was he?
I assume it is a male based on the bulge at the base of his tail and his blue coloration.

But maybe those are females.
Side-blotched females look quite different from males. I know from experience that identification of small lizards can be tough. I have asked one of our local biologist to help me identify some of the lizards in my slideshow and a few I was not sure what they were turned out to be Side-blotched females.
