great color

Wow. Is that a left over cornice from the previous winter? Sounds like a silly question but you shot the pic in October!?!?

Yes, that cornice is always there as far as I know. It's bigger than it looks and forms a small icefield in late summer and fall in most years once the snow has melted off.
