Went up the notch between Sunrise and Dromedary. I really didn't feel comfortable going back down that route since it felt like no matter where I stepped I'd make a giant rock slide, so I just went up Dromedary while tagging along with another group of climbers doing the traverse

Triple Traverse
Followed Dave and Rocky Alps' great trail report. Very helpful in finding the best route to the top of Sunrise. Beautiful peak.

Up the Chute
I came up Broad Fork and ran into a nasty bull moose. He wouldn't leave the trail until a few other people came up. He started getting really aggressive, snorting and snapping branches with his antlers.
I ended up going up the chute to the Dromedary - Sunrise saddle. It wasn't super awesome and the thin layer of snow made things a little slippy. I climbed straight up the ridge-line to the top. The rock was good the whole way. I went back the way I came and did Dromedary.

Triple Traverse

Triple Traverse
We started at Broad's Fork trailhead and did the Robinson route up the East Twin, then over to Sunrise and Dromedary and then down to Lake Blanche. It was a great day with perfect temperatures.

Solo Triple Traverse
Climbed up Twin Peaks then down to the pass between Sunrise and Twins. Climbing down the crack was surprisingly easy and fun! The hardest scrambling is probably up the West Buttress up to Jepsons Folly. Not too bad. Maybe class 4. After climbing Jepsons Folly I went up to Sunrise. Views from the top were great!
9/10/2012 - Hiked over from the Twins, great view! I was short on time, and Dromedary looked far away, so I descended the chute between the two peaks to upper Broads Fork. Yuck. Not recommended at all. Probably would have been easier to just go over Dromedary and descend via Lake Blanche.
7/30/2012 - En route to Dromedary from the Twins with Sage. Awesome day.

Tanner's Gulch

Aptly Named
Hit it after camping over night near a little runoff spring and enjoyed the trip. Grabbed Dromedary and the Twins on the same trip and it was one of my favorite nights of sleeping ever. Didn't bother hauling a tent up. Only limited decent camping above the beaver pond, but I slept on a big flattish rock and you could do the same if your back can take it.

Perfect Fall weather! Went up the Robinson's Variation and down the never-ending Talus slopes leading into Lake Blanche Basin from the summit of Dromedary. Long day, but worth it!

7/20/2014 With the WMC as part of the Cottonwood Ridge Traverse. West Twin Peak to Mount Superior.
4/20/2014 On Easter Sunday via Tanners Gulch and onto the Triple Traverse. With Lubos, Donovan Lynch, and John Badila. Unbelievable early spring climb.
6/5/2013 Climbed as part of the Triple Traverse. From Broads Fork I gained the saddle between Sunrise and Dromedary. Summited Dromedary and then traversed over Sunrise to Twin. Descended Broads Fork.
9/16/2012 Climbed with WMC. Came up Broads Fork and summited Sunrise and Dromedary before dropping down to Lake Blanche.
8/11/2012 Climbed with WMC as part of Cottonwood Ridge Traverse via Broads Fork. Completed the loop descending Mill B.
8/2/2012 Climbed via Broads Fork and descended Mill B South after summiting Dromedary.

Sunrise then East
Came up Broads fork, across Sunrise and Dromedary, went over to Sundial but dropped off instead. Fun ridge scrambling.
Ran up the Broad's Fork Trail (first time up here), up to the Twin Peaks saddle, around and up and then down the gulch between Dromedary and Sunrise. Unfortunately, I was right there, but didn't have the time to grab Dromedary---would have been 15 minutes but now it will be another 4 hours---I think I'll try it from Lake Blanche!
