Climbed Broad's Fork and to the saddle between Dromedary and Sunrise. There was a big mountain goat. Climbed Dromedary and then back down and up Sunrise and met the goat again.
#2 - 8/20 via Broads' Fork w/ Dromedary
Second Peak on the Triple Traverse Route. One of my favorites. But now that I think about it--they're all favs.

May 27, 2011: Did the Triple Traverse with Joe B, and Matt V. The snow, even the avy debris, was very soft in Tanners, so the going was slow.
May 16, 2009 - Did this peak as part of the Triple Traverse with a group of seven from SP. We had prime conditions.
Part of the Triple Traverse. Excellent Snow up the east ridge, not as much as I'd like down the west.
Came up Tanners with a big group from SP. Part of the Triple Traverse (double traverse for me). Went out through Broads Fork.
Usually part of a long traverse, the longest one day Sunrise to Sunset. 3 times as part of the Cottonwood ridge traverse, a half dozen triple traverses, even a few solo's!
Ascended a snow-free Tanners Gulch and ascended the E Ridge of Sunrise to the summit. Tanners without snow is awful and dangerous. Don't do it.
Climbed up Tanners Gulch and summited Dromedary, then traversed the ridge to the col and went up Sunrise. Sweet 3rd class climbing from the col, and an amazing uninterrupted 1500' glissade on corn snow for the descent!
Fun route with fun spring snow conditions.
as part of Walt Haas' annual Triple Traverse (which for me was a Double since I opted to skip Dromedary). I bit off almost more than I can chew doing this intimidating mountain as my first "real" snow climb (and my first winter/spring Elevener), and I considered bailing from Tanner's saddle, but I'm extremely glad I went through with it. The views of and from those peaks when snowy are unsurpassed, and then there's that awesome feeling you get when you successfully push your personal limits.
via Tanners Gulch / Triple Traverse
Reached the summit on two different ocasions:
7/1/07 as part of Tripple Traverse (Broad Fork)
9/9/07 as part of Cottonwood Traverse (Lisa Falls Direct)
7-6-07 3rd time on summit, this time climbing up & down the west buttress.Did it solo in summer and part of '07 Triple Traverse. Add another topping on 8-23-07 w/ Lana and Dennis. B.F. to the saddle, to Sunrise, to Dromedary, then over to 11,033 and down the Sundial ridge. Fun, fun! #5 on 9/18/07 as Dennis, Matt, Lana & I did the entire Cottonwood Ridge. Great scramble! #6 as part of the Triple Traverse on 5-6-08 with Dave, Robert & Lana. #7 as part of Cottonwood Ridge run on 7-19-08 with Brent, Brad, Rich, Matt and Lee. #8 on 8-2-08 with my cousin, Brooke. #9 on 5-16-09 as part of TT in near-perfect snow conditions w/ Dave & Christine. #10 5-7-10 Tanner's Triple Traverse w/ Joe Bullough; trailbreaking, trailbreaking, etc. #11 on 7-3-10 as part of Cottonwood Ridge with WMC. #12 7-17-12 W/ Brent from BF saddle and then along Cottonwood Ridge to Blanche Peak. #13 8-11-12 Part of WMC Cottonwood Ridge traverse w/ Brad & Sam. IVD #14 8-31-13 w/ Brent & Stanley via BF up; down from Tanner's notch. #15 7-14-15 W/ Brent via BF & the West Buttress. 4+46 up. IVD.
So intimidating from the saddle of it and Dromedary when it's covered in snow. Just start climbing.
09/01/2006 Triple Traverse via Broads Fork with Asher.
--June 28, 2007 West Ridge, Ferguson Canyon-->Mt. Superior, Cottonwood Ridge Traverse
--July 2002. Climbed the west ridge from Broads Fork Twin and continued on to Dromedary. Challenging with great views and solitude.
