There are surely both pros and cons with the cabled routes, but since they are quite expensive to put up, I think the amount will be limited. Anyways, especially the historic WWI routes in the Dolomites combines both climbing and history which adds a whole new dimension to climbing.
And about the photos, it was difficult to take bad shots when weather was that good :)
yeah, I was just looking at pictures again from the trip. The Alps in the summer are so much more inspiring than November in cold, wet and flat Denmark.
