Surrendering to darkness, my...

Surrendering to darkness, my partner watches as the last bit of sun fades before our forced bivy. This was the start of a very long, cold night.

Yeah, it did. We had to climb back up the peak in the dark and find a place to anchor in, which was basically this angeling chimney that didn't seem to protect us from the wind that well. We were shivering all night but I managed to get an hour of sleep. Aside from the wind, the weather was fair. It didn't rain on us. One of the most miserable nights ever but the morning sunrise was one of the best I have seen in my life too.
