Good leaf color

This maple species is probably not Acer platanoides, because this is used some as street tree in U.S. and it lacks fall color. I added some pictures to the Tanawha page and one is framed by beech leaves-Fagus Grandifolia at Tanawha photo #57270

That is beautiful shot desainme. It seams that we don't have exactly the same type of beech, at least not on Tanawha & Velebit, here grows Fagus Silvatica. I'm not sure about parts of Croatia outside of mountains.



I'm not sure which type of maple is on this shot. 5 different types grow on Velebit but this could be Acer Pseudoplatanus. Take a look at this shot and its caption.
