Did this hike from The Loop on our last day before flying home after doing the Bowman Kintla circuit. Great views from start to finish. saw plenty of people on the way up and down, but had the summit to ourselves. Great hike!

Cloudy
Was actually a super cool hike in all the fog, gave it a kinda unreal quality. Had to wait an hour at the top for the clouds to clear for an awesome view. Chatted with the guy that lived in the lookout. He was cool, told about the family of marmots that hangs out there.

Perfect sunny day! Took a quick break at the Glacier Park Chalet before continuing on to the lookout. Beautiful views and it was fun chatting with Buck, who was glad to see the sun after 4 cloudy days. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Highline to Swiftcurrent Mtn.
Hiked the Highline Trail with 2013 St. Mary Lodge employees, from Logan Pass, to Granite Park Chalet, then up to the lookout. Awesome day, descended to the Loop only to find we missed the shuttle and had to hitchhike back. Luckily, a convertible Camaro picked us up.

Highline to Swiftcurrent
A solo day. Great weather to start the day. Mist and clouds rolled in and a foggy wet summit was quickly enjoyed, despite the hampered views. Descended down the pass to Swiftcurrent lodge.
This is one I've climbed multiple times from both sides. It was my first Many Glacier area summit, and it's definitely my favorite lookout in the park. You can see all 6 10000 footers from a lookout! Plus, Buck has some great info on Wolverines!

Great views from lookout. Up from the Loop and out at Logan.
2010 July 27 Went solo from the Loop. Came back out along the Highline trail to Logan Pass & took bus back down to the Loop. Along the Highline I was buffaloed by a mountain goat for a while right in the cliffy part with nowhere else to go. Finally, I inched by him, eyeing his two little sharp horns the whole time.
June 4, 2011 Rode bikes with GMS from Avalance Lake to the Loop, then snow shoed to Swiftcurrent Lookout. Saw a grizz early on.

Hiked up from The Loop with Aaron. Nice temperate day with clouds lofting around the summit blocking all of the views. par for the course in GNP for 2010.
