Fun route finding & scrambling
Went with a great group (Andy, Harlan, Jacob & Cheryl) and the weather was perfect. We went up the normal route and over the top to where Andy showed us a very adventurous way down the other side involving a couple of long rappels

Fun peak just off the road
Valenclimbs Day Special. This is a great half day outing and an excellent intro into Zion scrambles.

Crazy wind on a thin ridge, but it was January so not complaining

Works as advertised
A fun "dessert" outing after doing the Guardian Angels. The route worked exactly as described, and I didn't think the bushwhack in was that bad. Down-soloing the crux felt trickier than I had expected from the way up, but not especially dangerous. With excellent views of the Angels, it's worth the side-trip. Trip report.

4/27/09 - The gully we climbed in the lower portion was quite brushy with a couple low 5th class moves. The route was quite aesthetic above that. Rapped the crux slabs with 2x70m ropes.
11/27/11 - Followed a better path down low this time; easier with less brush. Descended the back side of the peak.
