yes, it was great.
but as you can see we've just been about 100m above the clouds!!!
it was 'dark' in the valley the whole day.

very nice shot

I thought the clouds were the top of a glacier in the thumbnail view. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. The lighting is wonderful, the clouds melt right into the snow.

it was a nice tour: some hours to walk in the fog and then a long rest in the sun just some meters above the fog.

Fabulous Shot

This straight away caught my eye in the Thumbnail. You know, simple, uncluttered composition grabs the eye. If the right foreground had not been included, it would have not worked so well. The combinations of textures are exquisite.

And as jmc says above "the cloud melts right into the snow". So inviting that I should like to float on it.

Really, this is a great photo.
