Taken in late September from Glacier Point at about 4:30am. The star in the upper right corner was the planet Venus, I surmise, and I did embellish it a little in Photoshop... Otherwise it appeared right where you see it.

The constilation in the ceter of this photo is Orion and to be even more percise Orion's blet.

Thanks! I'm glad you think so; I got up at 3:30am to make the trip to Glacier Point and to be in position at the first glimmer of light that peeked over.
