Wagering a guess

that the waters of Great Salt Lake once lapped
up against the sides of this mountain; or at
least the waters of Lake Bonneville.

I much prefer the reds of autumn than the
greens of summer. Nice picture.

Looks like an ideal place to look for old
fossils.

Great guess as I have one pic taken from the summit that shows the lines of where the Lake
had different levels, and those lines are pretty much at the base of the mountain.
