Tantalizingly close

From the field, Rawe Peak is less than 400' up. However, although it appears tantalizingly close, there is no quick way to get there. The trees are way too thick. Only heading up to the ridge up the slight use trail (following the cairns) can one reach the summit without having to bushwhack. It is at least 40 minutes from here to the summit.
