This is confusing: "From either Ely, Wells or Wendover, drive via US 93 to the turn off for Cherry Creek, which is located eight miles to the west via a paved road. From Wendover, it was about 72 miles to the turnoff to Cherry Creek. It was another 8 miles to the old boomtown of Cherry Creek and happily, that 8 miles is paved."
So is it 16 miles of paved road or 8 miles of paved road from US 93? That was the only thing unclear. You may want to make it more clear.
Seems like another 14 miles of dirt road? 13 miles of which is good for 2WD? Pretty off the beaten track, but no surprise you were there!
