Camped on summit of Timber
Sometime in 2002, I'm guessing. Cool peak that is relatively inaccessible compared to other more popular peaks in the area.
Out and back from Icehouse Canyon. Blustery day, but the fog and rain didn't quite come in until 1pm. Great views all around, but with the cold wind, I didn't spend a ton of time on top. Summit register could use a replacement if anyone's got an extra ammo can and notebook laying around.
All the peaks from Ice House are nice but this is probably my favorite one...there's some bouldering along the trail too!
Up Big Butch Wash and over Thunder.
With a group.
Three T's is a sweet hike to some of the highest peaks in the San Gabriels. Nice view.
7 hours round-trip. Not much snow yet except on the north faces.
Went to notch hiking underneath ski lift and then to Thunder, Telegraph and Timber existing down Icehouse Canyon.
Used this to train for another hike. Really hot. Pack light. Lots of water. Sun protection. Wear trail runners.
With Rahil and friends. Training for Kili.
Hiked to Baldy Notch, Thunder Mountain and Telegraph. Saw 3 Bighorn Sheep about 100 feet from Telegraph summit. Another great hike in the San Gabriels.
Baldy & 3T's from Baldy Village
Second of the three T's
Round trip from Manker Flats via fire road, notch, Thunder Mtn. Great view.
Middle of 3Ts.
nice peak. enjoyed the views.
Quick run through Icehouse Cyn to tag the 3 T's.
Second of the three 'T's' from Manker Flat. Loved the views albeit the valleys were a bit hazy. Hike was a very enjoyable workout as an 'out & back' as we didn't have a car shuttle.
3rd time doing this loop and I finally went the extra bit to tag this summit.
