Song for MOCKBA:

The summer sun is fading as the year grows old,
And darker days are drawing near.

The winter winds will be much colder;
Now you're not here.

I watch the birds fly south across the Autumn sky ...

And one by one they disappear.

I wish that I was flying with them -
Now, you're not here.

Re: Song for MOCKBA:

Thanks Larry, I’m sure MOCKBA is still hiking in the mountains. Since winter is coming, he will be skiing in his beloved Uintas.

Re: Song for MOCKBA:

I'm sure of it!

Just miss his fascinating completely "snow-covered and mountain-related" posts, which are
a rarity nowadays on SP in my humble opinion.

Such a beautiful autumn picture!!

I hope we see a bit of this this year, in Austria...last year winter began already on October 10th or so!

Re: Such a beautiful autumn picture!!

Thanks Eric, the colors usually last a few weeks here. Sometimes not very long due to snow storms in September and October during some years.
