Teton Range from the West

Teton Range from the West

Looking at Mt Owen, Grand Teton, Middle Teton, and South Teton from Fred's Mountain at Grand Targhee. I feel somewhat guilty posting this picture as we took the chairlift to the summit of Fred's Mountain -- however, I shouldn't feel too bad since I mountain biked to Fred's summit earlier that day (without a camera though). Photo taken July 9, 2009.

Re: home sweet home!

You must be originally from the Teton Valley area? Great place! We especially enjoyed Victor with it's easy access to both the Western slopes and GTNP.

Re: home sweet home!

Yep Victor is low key compared to Jackson, but twice as nice IMO! Did you get to enjoy Huckleberry milkshakes while you were in town?

Re: home sweet home!

We definitely preferred Victor to the overcrowded Jackson. We did indeed have huckleberry milkshakes (and also espresso milshakes) probably every other day as the Victor Emporium was a short 2 mile walk from our cabin.
