Middle Teton, Southwest Couloir  Sucess!

Climbed with Kelly before continuing on our way to Yellowstone National Park.

Nice scrambling near the summit with excellent views of the valley and the Idaho State side.

america's finest

have visited this majestic range the past two summers(2009, 2010) for climbs of the grand teton, nez perce and owen. i'm in love with this range and all it has to offer a mountaineer! there's so much to do up there and i'm almost overwhelmed by the quantity of quality climbing in this range. it's a significant change in pace to what we're offered in colorado.

May 2014- skillet glacier, mount moran....one of the best snow lines in the mountain west! lovely memorial day holiday weekend

Hiking in 1966, 2005

In 1966 we did some rugged hiking to the base of one of the popular climbs but I didn't keep records back then. In 2005 we started to hike a similar trail (name buried in a scrapbook) but were caught by a thunderstorm due to a late start and didn't want to risk harm; still ended up hiking for 6 hours.
