Hiked up to the high point and signed the register located in a jar. Looks like good rock climbing. If I return to this area, I'll bring a rope.

Had a great day with the girlfriend (for once, she wasnt cold). Saw the Arch, Climbed the fin, slabbed up the "Eye of the Moon Goddess (sp?)" Took a small fall on a really sweet black dike formation (thank God she was using a gri-gri!)and met a TON of people from the bay area. Great location and a really sweet Memorial Day weekend.

fun  Sucess!

Fun scrambling abound, some nice climbing too, can be a bit redundant. Stopped here after getting shut down on the approach to the North Ridge of LPP in the winter.

can't stop myself from going here  Sucess!

I just wish the camping was free and the rangers wouldn't hassle you. Other than that, it's a fine place to drink a beer and pull on some monzo.

Finally found a reason to climb at A-Hills - TINA! We had a great day on a few routes with many laughs and lots of exfoliation. It was pretty warm on Rotten Bananas (5.7) but comfy on Pistacho Wall. Nice place.

Re: Wonderful Wkend of Leading & TR'ing

I'd have to second the compliments to Tim Standing. What an outstanding place to play!

I had the "what am I doing here?" attitude on the first day, but by the second, I was starting to feel like I could do this stuff again.

Those who know me well know I'll rarely take the lead with a female around. Thanks Tina. I'll follow you anywhere (almost).
