The Brothers is a craggy peak...
The Brothers is a craggy peak of basalt, specifically Eocene marine basalt of the Crescent Formation. Shown here are some crags encountered before the summit. The Crescent Formation makes up nearly the entirety of the east side of The Olympic Range. It dips steeply eastward and is about 10 miles thick. Sept. 10, 1995.
