The downclimb

The downclimb

Near the top of the "4th Class Downclimb" described in Roach's book Indian Peaks Wilderness and Cooper's Colorado Scrambles. Perfect weather all day!

Question

Sorry for the noob question. Did you just slide your prusik down the rope? And where were you anchored? Were you simul-climbing? Thanks

Answer

We anchored with a sling around a large block. And you are right, just slid a prusik as we went. Climbing isn't hard, just very exposed.
