The Enchantments

As I hiked up towards my brother (taking this pic), some of the beautiful scenery of the Enchantment area is just behind me. During the time I lived in Washington state, I made at least 30 trips into this area. It was an area I never got tired of and before my kids had grown up, I got all of them into the area (with just one exception) and they all loved the area as much as I did. I had three great companions who often accompanied me: Larry, Jerry and my brother. Then there were the times I just took my sons and daughter in or I'd go in by myself. I went through rain, snow, storm and fantastic weather up there and savored every mood.
