Re: My BelovedBoth ideas are really good. I'm afraid now there's no frontier post the valley will soon get packed with people (I remember one Saturday I spent there: counted 40-50, while the newspaper read 5,000 visited Morskie Oko that day).
As to the other thing: really good choice - I hope you make it, I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

anecdoteOne anecdote about my way down in this valley: as I wanted to climb Vychodna Vysoka I thought it was pointless to carry all heavy things in my rucksack so I unpacked the duvet and bottle of water under Polski Hreben and hided them under a rock.
When I came down the peak, the bottle was there.. but not the duvet anymore ! I started walking down the valley at a race pace (thus despite my amount of photos :) and soon I reached a column of 20 hikers... the duvet was hanging on the rucksack of one guy ! (polish of course :). I asked him to give it back, all of his mates were out of laugh around him.... Finally I was quite happy about it, he carried down few kgs for me over 1000m of elevation difference !
