The final descent from Mweka...

The final descent from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate is on pretty good trails. I did it in my lighter running shoes. There are many trip reports on SP and other locations that say how muddy and worn the trail is. I grabbed this shot just to show how high the original trail was (see the height to the right) and to show how good the trail is now. You can see to the side how low the trail is now due to years of climbing. Fortunately, the trail has been rebuilt and is now in excellent shape.
