The hamlet of Bürstegg above Lech am Arlberg

The hamlet of Bürstegg above Lech am Arlberg

Approaching the beautifully situated hamlet named Bürstegg on 1718 metres, which was inhabited for at least three centuries all year around - there was a church and even a school - by the Walser.

Awsome color!

I love how the green is so vivid but disappears into the snow! I would like to see this in person someday!

Re: Awsome color!

I can guarantee you that you'll love it - that spot really is of great beauty! The hamlet itself is also interesting to visit; the two or three houses that are still left, plus the little church, are all in original condition, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, and tell a lot about how the people lived up there in the past centuries.
Many cheers,
Eric
