Montana?

Where is this? Do you have to jump?

The Jump Traverse is located in northeastern Wyoming, on the Durrance route of Devils Tower. It is a large gap on top of a cliff high on the route. Crossing it requires either making a desperate jump to the other side, or climbing across the cliff face, which is pretty featureless. I made the leap(barely), but my climbing partner slipped, and had to dangle in space for a little while until he regained some holds. It is quite an exiting pitch.
