Thanks for posting these, they're by far the most helpful visual aid I've seen for judging difficulty of the Knife Edge. This album has convinced me that it's a route I'd love to do, but I wouldn't be comfortable trying it solo.
I was thinking about going solo, but at the last moment got Dave going with me... I am not sure what I would do at the first dip in the "W", the 2nd dip is much easier... We really used the rope only for about 10 meters from that whole route...
