The long northwest ridge leading to the summit of Nevado Huarancante, seen from the west

Now thát looks like a fun traverse: start on the left and go all the way up and over Nevado Huarancante! It's already late now, so I'm going to camp, but tomorrow I'll be going around the mountain to the other side, and along the way I can have a closer look at the start of the ridge. I'm not planning to climb it: I would rather not try that alone, since I have no idea what kind of difficulties to expect.
