I enjoy climbing there

The monastary is one of my favorite Colorado sport climbing areas a fun hike in and wonderful sport climbs all arounnd you with the Rocky Mountains as a scenic back drop allways a bit cooler when every where else is so hot also, Enjoy your picture very much Good luck climbing

Thank you! This is one of my favorite areas for sport climbing too. If you have a few days to climb here, however, I believe it makes the experience much better. The drive up the Big Thompson takes nearly an hour and the hike is long (but beautiful). Though this area is well worth the extra time, spending a few days there is key. BTW last time I was up there, there was no camping off the road because of destructive campers. This was in fall of 06. If anyone has any updates I'd surely appreciate it.
