4th highest...Castle is actually the 4th highest "ranked" peak in Montana. Nearly everyone forgets West Granite Peak. Nice photo though!

Re: 4th highest...Interesting! Is West Granite part of the main Granite Peak massif? Would that make Mount Wood the 3rd highest then?

Re: 4th highest...West Granite is sort of part of the main Granite Peak massif. It has about 330 feet of prominence with a deep notch between them. I actually did the traverse between them last summer. I put up a page for it too.
Yes Wood is actually the 3rd highest!
