4th highest...

Castle is actually the 4th highest "ranked" peak in Montana. Nearly everyone forgets West Granite Peak. Nice photo though!

Interesting! Is West Granite part of the main Granite Peak massif? Would that make Mount Wood the 3rd highest then?

West Granite is sort of part of the main Granite Peak massif. It has about 330 feet of prominence with a deep notch between them. I actually did the traverse between them last summer. I put up a page for it too.

Yes Wood is actually the 3rd highest!
