Yes ...You are clever to have so many
wonderful photos organized into
album pages. I know where Canaan
Mountain is located. But, what
about Canaan Peak? Hasn't anybody
visited Canaan Peak? It's located
between Henrieville and Escalante,
about 15 miles north of Grosvenor
Arch, as the crow flies.
So many mountains ... so little time.

Re: Yes ...I’ve been to Canaan Peak. Dean already asked me about that one. It’s a shorter hike than Canaan Mountain and takes half a day or less to climb. Canaan Peak has a bright orange and red color because it has the same type of rock found in Bryce Canyon National Park.

Re: Great!Thank you! This was a neat feature on the mountain. When I was there it felt like a wind tunnel.
