Ohhh yeah!

This brings back memories of my favorite trip ever. I will never forget the Queens river loop, and especially The Rakers! I wish I would have summited Blacknose and been more of a photographer back then. Nice pic Dave.

Thanks. Those Rakers are amazing, and Blacknose is a fantastic vantage point for checking them out. I've got some decent shots from Blacknose, but it was a little smoky when we were there.

I am planning to do Blacknose Mountain, but I would very much like to see some route photos for the way up. Do you have any? Also which is easier, Arvals or Blacknose? Great shots of this whole trip by the way.

I might be able to dig up a few route pics for Blacknose, let me get back to you. I'd say Blacknose and Arvals are about the same difficulty. I felt Arvals was a more enjoyable scramble, but Blacknose has that great view of the Rakers. You should climb both. :)
