The route up Pete's Staircase.

This photo was taken looking down into the cirque at Pete's Staircase from the summit of Lone Peak. The red line shows my route I took up the Staircase to the base of the Collins Highway. This route has been rated as YSD 5.4. It felt more like an exposed scramble to me without pro, however if you are comfortable with considerable exposure, there isn't need for pro on the ascent.
