Aha

I remember wondering where that "spur" trail went and this pic really clears it up. I passed by this on my way up to the saddle.
Thanks for posting this shot, Phelps Canyon is now on my list for next year.

Yes it is not very well marked. Phelps Canyon is sometimes easier to find on the decent but it is easier to get "off trail" that way. Depending on the time of year there can be some minor bushwackin near the top but it is definatly worthy of your time. See you somewhere in Phelps Canyon Dean, Happy Trails.
