The Silent Bowl behind Sasso Della Croce

The Silent Bowl behind Sasso Della Croce

It's no wonder the locals have stories of goblins and fairies - it is absolutely silent down in there, glorious reflief from the constant cowbells and passing hikers and mountain bikes. Sasso delle Nove and Piz de Sant Antone stand above the Gran Ciampac and Pices Fanes, taken from below Forcella de Medesc at the end of a long day from Lagazuoi via Forcella da Lago and the Val di Fanes (July 2005).
