My stomping grounds.

I've lived my entire life in the Southeastern USA. Most of it between two states: Georgia and North Carolina, with several wonderful years in the mountains of northern Georgia. I spend 90% of my vacation time in the southern high country, viewing it in all of its beauty and noting how fragile it all is and how utterly close to destruction it comes with each passing year.

Herein are just some of the places I've hiked and viewed in my travels across Southern Appalachia.
