The stunning, massive headwall of El Cajon Mountains' climbing area. 5.6 to 5.13+ bolted routes (up to 4 pitch) and a few trad lines as well. Unreal rock. I believe that this is a sub-peak of the El Cajon formation (not sure where the summit-proper is located.) Photo taken approx Jan 2005

90 minutes for limp-wristed, posey-sniffing conservatives! I bet you could post it under an hour with a pair of M-60's strapped to yer back!

We'll definitely be hitting EC Mtn when things cool down. Just you wait and see!

El Cajon Peak

El Cajon Peak is about one linear mile North of the top of the El Capitan formation. It's coordinates are:

32*54'29"N, 116*49'45"W.
