The Subway Tunnel

This view is from where the cairned route reaches the canyon bottom. It is facing upstream. If you approach from Russell Gulch, this is what the "tunnel" looks like about 30 feet after you have exited it. At this point, you need to locate the Jug Handle on the south side of the canyon and begin the climb out. Zion NP, UT-- July 2012
