The "Upside-down F"

This marking, not made by people, is a major landmark along the climb to Iceberg Notch. This is from just below it, but it is visible from several hundred feet below. Reaching this spot is the key to finding the easiest finish to the climb. Glacier National Park, MT-- August 2009

Glad to know this could be of use. If you do climb from the lake and are using the Edwards guide, definitely look for this feature after the approach up from the lake. It isn't necessary to follow the described route step by step, but this rock is nice to have for navigational purposes.
