The view east from the summit...
The view east from the summit of Brokeoff into the heart of ancient Mount Tehama. The barren hillside in the upper middle is a bit downhill from the Bumpass Hell area, an active geothermal area. To the lower middle is the Sulpher Works, another active geothermal area. The road is CA State Route 89, the only road through the park. Photo taken July 26, 2004
